Tax Targeting Is Underway Against Religious Organizations

The Democrats would love more than to have a reason to strip away the tax-exemption status that all non-profit organizations and churches enjoy. They can only see the dollar signs and miss out on all the help these establishments provide to people in need. The liberal IRS has people working inside its walls that cannot stand faith-based organizations. So, they are actively looking for any reason to deny tax-exempt status.

When Barack Obama sat in the White House, tons of organizations were denied tax exemption. He kept them from being able to get approval for non-profit status. He was not a man of faith but loved the almighty dollar.

And now that Joe Biden sits in the office, the country sees much of the same hatred that came under Obama. For example, the IRS has denied a Christian organization tax-exempt status because their “Bible’s teachings are typically affiliated with the Republican Party and candidates.”

The Democrats are now attaching the word Christian onto the Republican label because they see all Christians and conservatives as their enemies. The best way for the Democrats to beat down on them is to tax them into oblivion. And the only way they can achieve their goal is to strip away tax exemption.

The liberals have already threatened the Catholic Church with taking the tax-exemption status if they do not stop denying communion to Joe Biden. They think that they can force any person to submit if they have financial control over them. That idea is something the progressives want to see alive and well in America. They want to control people by providing them with money and food and deny it to those that would disagree with them.

First Liberty is the group that is appealing the decision for Christians Engaged. But, unfortunately, the Democrats did not like what their mission statement is all about, so they attacked them before they could ever get started.

The Christians Engaged mission statement states that they want to “awaken, motivate, and empower ordinary believers in Jesus Christ to: pray for our nation regularly, vote in every election to impact our culture, [and] engage our hearts in some form of political education or activism for the furtherance of our nation.”

The mission statement is something that every America loving person should want for all people. But the Democrats cannot afford to have educated and American-loving people voting in their elections. And the idea of someone praying for them demands they answer to a higher power than themselves.

They plan on achieving their goal by engaging the people. They will run Bible studies and send out prayer letters to know how to pray for their leaders. But, unfortunately, the liberal IRS cannot fathom having anyone pray for Biden.

The group also states that they want to educate the public that they need to vote. The Democrats claim that they want to make voting easy, so it stands to reason that they would want this group out there helping people to vote. But that is just not the case. The Democrats need easy access to voting so they can cheat during the elections.

And the last thing they want to do is get people involved in helping make lives better for everyone. But these goals are something that Exempt Organizations Director Stephen Martin cannot allow or agree with. Instead, he sees Christians Engaged as a way of influencing elections and engaging in illegal practices.

Never in America has helped people vote or make an informed decision been illegal. Yet, Martin is scared that an informed voting base will make better decisions in the future. So, he classifies this group as a money-making entity and denies them tax exemption.

One report noted that “Under federal law, to receive tax-exempt status as a religious organization, an organization must operate exclusively for charitable or educational purposes and must “not attempt to influence legislation or ‘participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates,” But nowhere has the group identified as a political arm of the Republican Party. Martin invented the link so he could keep faith-based values from making a difference in the American political landscape.
