The Taliban Has Drawn a Red Line for Biden…What Does That Mean?

President Biden has proven that he knows nothing about international relations. He’s expecting the Taliban to make good on their word of letting us get all Americans out without getting hurt.

The Taliban has gone around the country and collected all of our weapons. They’re actually using our weapons against us. We’ve abandoned thousands of weapons, planes, and military vehicles around Afghanistan – and they’re not going to be giving them back to us.

Still, Biden thinks that all is well. In fact, he’s so convinced of the relationship with the terrorists that he has talked of asking for an extension. As we near closer and closer to the August 31 deadline, it has become clear that we might not get everyone out in time.

Asking for a deadline, however, is a red line for the Taliban.

Taliban spokesperson Dr. Suhail Shaheen has said “it’s a red line” if Biden tried to extend the date to get more people evacuated from the country.

In a video interview with Sky News, Shaheen made it clear that no extension would be offered. “President Biden announced that on 31 of August they would withdraw all their military forces. So if they extend it, that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that.” He went on to say that continuing the occupation would also provoke a reaction.

There are several important things that need to be taken from this.

One, Biden will be the biggest idiot in the history of the U.S. if he were to go ahead and ask for an extension after this comment has been made.

Two, the Taliban have threatened the U.S.

If we don’t get everyone out by August 31, which includes both people and military aircraft, they will react.

Now, they didn’t say how they are going to react. However, considering that they’re not opposed to shooting people in the head simply for trying to get to Kabul to escape the country, we can anticipate that it will be a negative and violent reaction.

U.S. military flights are entering Kabul each and every day. In a 24-hour period, we were able to evacuate approximately 10,000 people. Some of these are Americans but many of them are Afghan nationals.

Since August 14, we have brought approximately 37,000 into the U.S. according to a White House official.

Will we make the deadline? Well, there’s a problem. The federal government doesn’t know how many Americans are in Afghanistan. Or if they do know, they’re not disclosing it to the American people. So, if we don’t know how many we need to get, there’s the real possibility of leaving people behind.

And when they want to talk about a red line, there’s one that we should have: don’t beat Americans on their way to the airport because you gave your word that we could get everyone out peacefully.

That’s the problem with negotiating with terrorists, though. The Taliban doesn’t follow the rules. They’ll beat our people into bloody pulps because they feel like it. Yet, Biden still thinks that they’re holding up their end of the bargain. He refuses to acknowledge that Americans are not able to get to the airport and that the Taliban is most certainly not offering safe passage.

The Biden administration is showing weakness while the Taliban is drawing a red line. There will be violence come September 1 if we’re not out – and whether we stand up to them or not is still to be determined. If we have learned anything about Biden’s governing style, we’ll likely tuck tail and run. We’ll leave Americans to die at the hands of terrorists simply because Biden doesn’t want to declare war on the Taliban. It’s yet another way that the Biden administration is proving that they’re not prioritizing Americans. They’ll let the terrorists live and Americans die. God Bless America.
