Hillary Clinton Getting Into the ‘Voting Rights’ Bed With Ben Affleck and Tracee Ellis Ross

Just when you thought Hillary and Bill were about to fade into the sunset, Hillary claws her way back up from the depths of leftist hell, and this time she is hopping into the bed with Ben Affleck and Tracee Ellis Ross to talk about ‘Voting Rights’. Yes. Yes, you read that correctly. She of all people wanting to talk about this is just as insane and lacking any sort of sense as you think it does.

The idea here is to do it as a fundraiser and also feature noted Democrats like former Obama attorney general Eric Holder. They see problems with the voting rights here in America since they lost this last special election so badly in places like Virginia and New Jersey. So, they need to do something to try and turn the tide (an exercise in futility, for sure).

As an email from Clinton herself reads “At the core of our democracy is the right to make our voices heard in fair elections…and when Republicans redraw district lines to dilute the voting power of communities of color and eliminate competitive seats to their own advantage, they threaten that right for the rest of us.” This sentiment is incredibly dangerous.

Lines are redrawn based on the movement of the population and the census. They are agreed upon before being set in place. There is no conspiracy between people to keep people from voting or keeping their vote from being counted. Nobody is looking to ‘dilute the voting power of communities of color,’ as she alleges. The local races are determined by the lines, and nobody is having them restructured to win a local seat (you know, the ones that directly impact the people most directly). On the federal level, it doesn’t matter, you still need to take the most votes. So again, here is Hillary talking out of her backside about an issue she knows nothing about.

From her allegations of Russian involvement when Trump defeated her for the White House, to her comments about Republican-led initiatives to get people to vote being racist and actually hindering people from voting (a complete lie), she has very odd ideas about voting rights and how to properly account for and tabulate a vote.

Of course, Holder has had his say on the topic as well. “Coronavirus gives us an opportunity to revamp our electoral system so that it permanently becomes more inclusive and becomes easier for the American people to access” Then again, he also encouraged people to engage in ‘civil disobedience’ by “raising the consciousness of people by demonstrating, by getting arrested, by doing the things that ended segregation.” Kinda funny that a former attorney general is encouraging more violence and protests to change things instead of actually taking the same soft stance the left wants to be taken on everything else.

There is no real word why Ben Affleck and Tracee Ellis Ross are going to be there. While Ross is the co-star for the hit TV series “Black-ish,” it’s not really a good fit for a political fundraiser for either actor. Then again, Affleck does love dipping his toe in the political water from time to time, and the Democrats will use black celebrities to appear ‘reachable’ to their constituents, despite their record of turning their back on these same people once an election is over.
