Doocy Discusses Biden’s Vacation During Maui Fires, KJP Less Than Pleased

Peter Doocy is back, and that means that press events at the White House are more exciting. Most reporters sit there and take notes. They accept anything that Karine Jean-Pierre tells them without bothering to ask questions.

And then, there’s Doocy of Fox News. He and KJP have quite the history because she has learned to expect the unexpected from him. And he’s learned that her lack of answering certain questions is all the answers that we need to learn of the missteps happening at the White House.

There’s been an issue that hasn’t really been addressed – and that has to do with the fires in Maui. Sure, the White House has given us at least a tidbit, but it hasn’t been even close to the truth. Especially now as the Biden administration has built a curtain around Lahaina, we don’t know what they’re hiding.

Doocy asked a question that left many shocked: “It seems like the hurricane response so far is robust. Did you guys realize that the initial Hawaiian wildfire response was not that good or is it just easier for people to get help from the White House when [Biden] is not on vacation?”

The best part of the video is how Peter Alexander of NBC looked shocked, with his eyebrows going sky high.

The reality is that it’s a question that needs to be asked. Sure, the people of Maui are getting the help now – but it was practically nonexistent until Biden was finished with vacation. And considering that he seems to be always on vacation, it’s not as if the White House can use the excuse that he needed a break.

KJP wanted it on the record that she didn’t like the way that Doocy posed his question.

In the next breath, she responded with, “If you were to do your reporting and speak to the governor of Hawaii, the senators of Hawaii, the folks on the ground, they would say that the president reacted in record time when it came to dealing with the wildfires, when it came to dealing and making sure that they got everything that they need on the federal level to deal with what was going on on the ground.”

It’s all false, though. There are countless Hawaiians who have done nothing but point the finger at the Biden administration to say that their response has been lackluster…and some say it has been nonexistent.

Think about all that we’ve done for Ukraine.

This is Hawaii…a part of our own country. And yet we can’t even get close to the same level of aid.

Thank goodness Doocy is back. Someone has to be ready to call the administration out on their BS and lies.
