If you haven’t noticed, the attacks against former President Donald Trump just keep coming. And Elon Musk is predicting how they will affect Trump in the polls.
As I am sure you’ve seen of late, Trump is entangled in a number of lawfare suits, basically, legal battles in which the political left have accused him of some ridiculous crime or another, all in an obvious effort to sully his name, reputation, and chances of winning either the GOP nomination or the general election in November.
To be sure, it’s shameful.
At this point, even left-leaning publications like the New York Times and CNN have been forced to admit that the efforts are not having the intended effect. In fact, they only seem to be endearing Trump to the American people all the more.
Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk was quick to point this out recently after seeing an X post from Foundation for Freedom Online executive director Mike Benz that criticized the left’s continually failing moves against Trump.
In the post, Benz noted that in one case against Trump, both the judge presiding over the case and a star witness had no right to be involved in the case at all.
“The judge is so financially conflicted he wouldn’t be allowed on the jury. The star witness is a multi-crime convicted felon who in most states wouldn’t even be allowed to vote.”

The judge he’s referring to, of course, is Judge Juan Merchan, who, according to the New York Post, had made donations to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. Additionally, his daughter, who works for Authentic Campaigns, has helped to raise over $93 million from the trial her dad is presiding over.
As Trump spokesman Steven Cheung clarified, she is literally “making money from this sham attack against President Trump, rending Judge Merchan conflicted out.”
As to the star witness mentioned, Benz is referring to convicted felon Michael Cohen.
And yet, the case against Trump continues, with both clearly biased parties mentioned by Benz allowed to influence a high-profile federal case and, in so doing, a presidential election.
Then again, as the polls have proved, all that so-called negative press for Trump only seems to be making him popular, which led Musk to reply, “The more unfair the attacks on Trump seem to the public, the higher he will rise in the polls.”

Of course, this has already been proven as truth.
Remember when he was arrested for his supposed crimes, and his mugshot was “leaked” to the public?
Undoubtedly, the left intended to make Trump look like the criminal they are trying to make him out to be. However, it only served to encourage his supporters and turn more to his side. It was noted that in a mere 24 hours, his campaign received more donations than it had in weeks, literally millions overnight.
That trend has continued as the “sham” lawsuits have continued. Not only is Trump getting donations like never before, but he’s also rising higher and higher in the polls. As the Times reported on Monday, Trump now leads Biden in all but one battleground state. And the margin of loss in that one isn’t insurmountable.
It’s also been mentioned that it’s not just Republicans and MAGA lovers who are supporting Trump. CNN had to admit that a record number of independents are also showing support for Trump.
Needless to say, I don’t think the intention of lawfare is being met. And Elon Musk’s prediction is looking more like fact by the minute.
