Tulsi Gabbard Declares War on the Deep State

Tulsi Gabbard is on a mission—and it’s rattling the very foundation of Washington’s power structure. As Director of National Intelligence, she’s not just making bold claims about deep state corruption—she’s declassifying the receipts.
During a sharp exchange on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle, Gabbard tore into the permanent Washington class, accusing entrenched intelligence operatives of undermining American democracy to protect their own power. When asked about a tweet from Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) calling for her to be fired, Gabbard didn’t flinch.
“He has and continues to be a reliable soldier,” she said, drawing a line between Warner’s behavior and the coordinated smear campaigns long used by the left to silence dissent. “These are the same tactics warmongers in Washington always use when someone challenges the status quo.”
Her comments came as Gabbard continues to release explosive intelligence findings tied to the 2016 Russia hoax. In July, she declassified a trove of documents detailing how Obama-era officials allegedly weaponized the intelligence community to sabotage Trump’s first term. And she isn’t done yet.
“The rule of law requires it,” she said. “The integrity of our democratic republic requires rooting out the truth, telling the truth to the American people, and bringing about that accountability.”
Democrats and their media allies are predictably in meltdown mode. But this time, they’re up against a DNI who isn’t afraid to name names. On July 23, Gabbard announced she’s referring former President Barack Obama to the Department of Justice for potential criminal prosecution over his alleged role in the Russiagate conspiracy.
That announcement was met with fire from the left—and a grand jury investigation from the DOJ just days later. Now, the stakes have never been higher.
In her Fox interview, Gabbard made it clear that she’s not just targeting rogue agents—she’s aiming for institutional reform. “It is essential not only to root out the individual bad actors, but to enact the kind of reform to make sure these kinds of things can never happen again,” she said.
Gabbard’s rise to the DNI role wasn’t without resistance. Her confirmation was delayed by Senate Democrats earlier this year, who feared exactly what’s happening now: exposure. With every new revelation, it’s becoming clear that the so-called “deep state” wasn’t just a conspiracy theory—it was a coordinated effort to kneecap Trump and override the will of the voters.
And the legacy media? Gabbard says they’re part of the problem. “The mainstream propaganda media… We’ve got to use our common sense and recognize we should accept nothing they say at face value.”
Her message has found a receptive audience among Republicans, independents, and even former skeptics. After nearly a decade of lies, cover-ups, and gaslighting about Russia, Trump, and the intelligence community, Americans are demanding answers—and accountability.
The question now is how far the investigation will go. With the DOJ finally launching a grand jury probe, the Obama administration’s actions are under serious legal scrutiny for the first time. And with Gabbard leading the charge, the days of selective leaks and partisan protection may be coming to an end.
For years, conservatives warned of a weaponized intel community operating outside the rule of law. Tulsi Gabbard just proved they were right. And she’s only getting started.
