A watchdog group says that all the top medical schools in America have abandoned medical science and replaced it with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) nonsense. Rather than training doctors, the group Do No Harm says in a new report that medical schools are instead focusing on political correctness and “woke” platitudes.

Do No Harm conducted a content analysis of the course catalogs from 20 of the top US medical schools. They cross-referenced to check the number of times that politicized nonsense words were used and compared it to the number of times that traditional medical terms were used.

A list of eight politically correct DEI terms like “race/racism,” “identity,” and “diversity” were used 2,406 across all 20 catalogs. A list of eight medical and scientific terms like “anatomy,” “obesity,” and “placebo” were only used 1,928 times.

The term “social” was the most commonly used word and appears an average of 44 times in every course catalog. The word “diversity” was used more times than the term “chemistry.” All eight of the politically charged words appear more often than “obesity,” which is odd when you consider that obesity is the number one health problem in America.

As one example, Baylor College of Medicine in Texas offers a course called “Human Rights and Medicine.” The class description talks about immigration reform from a leftwing perspective, gender issues across cultures, and HIV discrimination. At Stanford University School of Medicine, ideological terms appear in the course catalog twice as often as medical terms.

Do No Harm says the problem is fixable, however. The group is urging state legislatures to crack down on publicly funded medical schools that are teaching woke politics instead of actual medicine.
