Celebrities are often getting political. They try to influence their followers to choose one politician over another. And some of the more openly politically-driven celebrities have been quite vocal recently.

Here are a few who have made the headlines:
Hayley Williams of Paramore stopped her concert in Atlantic City to scream to the crowd, “If you vote for Ron DeSantis, you’re f***ing dead to me.”

Jane Fonda also delivered a speech where she blamed the issues with the climate on white men, saying, “It’s good for us all to realize, there would be no climate crisis if there was no racism.”

When hearing of Donald Trump running for a second term in 2024, Bette Midler commented, “After a two year pandemic, and a million American lives lost, the rest of us have moved on. He is ossified. May he rot.”

Meanwhile, Candace Cameron Bure took a simpler approach by identifying what American politics really looks like: “Everybody is out for themselves, not for the country.”

Who else is getting political, and are you okay with it?
