By now, you’ve likely heard all about Democratic and dementia-ridden President Joe Biden’s rather nasty fall at the US Air Force Academy graduation ceremony recently. But what makes this fall even more interesting – and questionable – is Biden’s shoes.
No, I am not in any way, shape, or form attempting to blame Biden’s shoes for his clumsiness. After all, this is not the first time he’s fallen.
Quite the opposite, in fact. As several social media users have pointed out since the incident in question, Biden appears to have been wearing a special type of shoe, ones that should have helped to ensure that he didn’t slip and therefore stayed upright, even if the footing was not ideal for the aging lawmaker.
Despite Biden’s claims that he “got sandbagged,” there seems to be nothing to indicate that Biden did anything other than trip over his own feet – and in shoes specifically designed to thwart such things.
Just take a look at the soles of these shoes:

They gave Joe special grip sole shoes and he's still falling on his face. Sad. pic.twitter.com/L0sKXlEoY7

If you’re anything like me, you’ve never seen shoes quite like these before. But actually, they aren’t anything new.
The famed Michael Jackson actually even wore something similar, designed specifically to help him accomplish some of his more ‘gravity-defying’ dance moves without falling over. Of course, Biden wears them, complete with grippy rubber soles, to avoid slipping and falling.

And yet, that still doesn’t appear to help at all.
Of course, the shoes and their custom soles are supposed to be slip-proof, not trip-proof. And for a man like Biden, who can’t even seem to understand where he is or where he needs to go most of the time, that makes all the difference.
