Thanks to streaming apps, TV ratings aren’t at all what they used to be, even for mainstream media. But that doesn’t mean Fox News, and in particular, Greg Gutfeld hasn’t been bringing in some impressive numbers.

In fact, according to recent ratings, Gutfeld earns far more than the “Big Three” networks and their hosts despite being in fewer households.

As you likely know, ABC, CBS, and NBC have pretty much run the show for decades, being a part of millions of Americans’ daily routine.
But now, their viewership is dwindling. In contrast, Gutfeld’s is only going up. And that fact has given Fox a reason to provide the star with host even more air time and a better contract.

According to a Thursday announcement, Fox News has just agreed upon a new contract with Gutfeld, promising to keep him in his role as the favored late-night show host for years to come.

Now, the specifics of the contract, namely the number of years, have not been revealed. However, the implication isn’t good news for Gutfeld’s competitors.

Additionally, Gutfeld has been awarded the time-to-time hosting and producing of Fox Nation programming. Of course, that’s on top of his late-night show ‘Gutfeld!’ and his position as co-host for Fox News’ ‘The Five.’

So, just how popular is Gutfeld?

Well, according to the news release, “’ Gutfeld!,’ which celebrates its third anniversary this Friday… draws the largest audience in late-night television in viewers with 2.2 million viewers and 304,000 in the 25-54 demo, topping CBS’ ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ & ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers,’ ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ and Comedy Central’s recently relaunched ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.’”

It was also noted that Gutfeld holds the top spot in the 25-54 and 18-49 demos. It was the highest-rated program in the 25-54 demo in cable news in the program’s history.

With his unabashed humor and quick wit, not to mention no holds barred attitude, it’s easy to see why. Congrats, Greg.
