It is astounding how hateful people can be, turning something simple and polite into a horror story. Unfortunately, that’s constant for former President Donald Trump and now for this little girl.
It all happened on Tuesday when Trump traveled to Louisiana. Once there, he was greeted by fans and supporters at the airport, as usual. One of those supporters was a small girl named Amelia Grace, who hitched a ride on her dad’s shoulders to meet Trump face to face.
In usual fashion, Trump greeted her and her family with smiles and took the time to write on Amelia’s small hand in permanent marker.
Needless to say, Amelia was all smiles too.
But the whole thing got twisted when a leftist-based social media group got ahold of the footage and images of the encounter.
According to them, it was a shameful act of sexual predation – and one that her parents were complicit in.

Naturally, those against Trump took no time to rally against him, the parents, and even the little girl.
One user even went as far as asking, “Are her redneckmobile parents going to have it tattooed on her now??”
Thankfully, the girl’s mother stepped up to clarify that nothing untoward was going on. Instead, it was merely an excited child getting to meet the President of the United States.
In an interview with RedState, Hilary Thompson noted that their entire family had traveled to meet Trump that day because they support him. Amelia Grace was no different.
As to what Trump wrote, Thompson says he simply wrote the word “Hi!” with an exclamation point. And a mere two hours later, the ink had already rubbed off…
Compare that to Joe Biden literally smelling small children and pulling them close to him…
This has none of the same implications or connotations. Trump was merely greeting a fan. And he did it in an honorable, simple, and yet poignant way.
