Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), aka AOC, is now taking her turn in the limelight and under the microscope for her reporting fiancé, Riley Roberts as a “spouse” on forms turned into the House Ethics Committee in 2023. The problem is that she and Roberts are not legally wed.

Yet in post-travel disclosure forms turned in to the House Ethics Committee, she ticked him off as a “spouse” for a trip to Japan and South Korea in February that was funded by the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation. Plus, an August trip to South America, funded by George Soros’s Foundation to Promote Open Society and the Center for Economic and Policy Research also classified him that way. She alleges that on both trips, he separately covered his own expenses.

AOC sent her spokeswoman Lauren Hitt to talk to the Washington Free Beacon (WFB) about the subject, as she thinks such ethics as beneath her. Hitt reluctantly claimed the duo aren’t “legally married” but claims “House Ethics has commonly recognized the term spouse to extend to long-term partners.” Yet the committee has made the matter black and white, saying that the term requires they be legally married.

The form also features a box for “other” where AOC could have written in “fiancé” to clarify the situation, but she chose to lie. Given her self-appointed pedestal for ethics in Congress, she is now opening herself to a criminal prosecution, as the WFB pointed out.

Per their report, “Willful misrepresentations in congressional financial disclosure forms could result in civil penalties of up to $50,000, or, in extreme cases, imprisonment of up to five years, according to the House Ethics Committee. Ocasio-Cortez could also be reprimanded by the committee or be censured by a majority vote of the House if she intentionally concealed her husband’s finances from the public, said Paul Kamenar, an attorney for the National Legal and Policy Center.”

In her 2022 financial disclosure documents, she references this “spouse” whom she reportedly paid for their flight expenses to Venice, Italy. Attending a four-day art conference, the Mara Foundation sponsored the whole event, per the Beacon’s report.

This hypocrite has made her money from stocks and other gains but is suddenly opposing elected officials and their spouses from owning stocks. Would certainly explain why he’s a “fiancé” in her reporting so they can own stocks and profit off the downfall of the American people. She has also gone after Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas for allegations he failed to report gifts from billionaires.

Her hypocritical actions and way of treating this office as an elected representative is exactly what we have come to expect from the Democrats, but her choice to make it so blatant is nothing more than disgusting. This isn’t the kind of person who should be sitting in office as an elected representative. Instead, she should be behind bars for taking advantage of the office like this.

Granted, the relationship between herself and Roberts is suspicious.

Let’s face facts, even though every time she opens her mouth, some severely distasteful ignorance comes stumbling out, to the eye, she is an attractive woman. There’s no denying that she has aesthetically pleasing features. Then she opens her mouth, and it’s gone. Yet Roberts looks like an ugly woman in bad drag. He doesn’t look like a manly man, an intelligent man, or even a real man.

When he speaks (which is rare), he sounds even more pathetic than it looks. Honestly, he’s not the kind of man who’s cut out to be the partner or spouse of someone running an HOA in Des Moines, IA, or public office for NYC. All in all, it seems like he has some significant dirt on her or is planted there to keep her in line to drive the leftist machine and the agenda of “The Squad” in a way the Democrats want.
