In this day and age, it is all too easy to judge a book by its cover, so to speak. If someone is a known BLM founder and leader, for example, it’s pretty much a given that they are a liberal Marxist out for power and not equality, right?
Well, Mark Fisher is proving that stereotype wrong.
True, he most certainly is a founder and leader of Black Lives Matter Rhode Island. And he is proud to be. However, in a shocking and recent interview with “Fox and Friends,” he proves why he is not like most BLM members or leaders you’ve heard of.
First of all, he has a major problem with the Democratic Party.
During his interview with host Lawrence Jones, he explained that the Democrats have basically lied and cheated the black communities of America for decades now. Things aren’t getting any better for black families despite the Democrats’ insistence that they are. Instead, things are only getting worse.
And Fisher lays it all at the Democrats’ feet.
“I think personally it’s the duplicity of the Democrats, the hypocrisy. We’re not stupid. The brothers are not stupid. We understand when someone is for us and when someone is not, and it’s obvious that the Democratic Party is not for us.”
In fact, Fisher thinks the Democrats have put in place a number of policies that expressly hurt them, in particular, the black family.
“Their policies actually strike at the heart of the black family and the nuclear family.”
Of course, Fisher isn’t the only one to notice such. Polling among American voters shows a definite drop in support for both Democrats as a whole and incumbent Joe Biden from black voters. NBC, a usual liberal-leaning outlet, was even forced to admit that Biden’s approval rating has dropped a whopping 20 points this year.
Another shock is that many of those black voters, including Fisher, are turning to none other than former President Donald Trump now.
According to Fisher, the establishment media has done a good job for many years of “misinforming” black communities about Trump. That alone seems to be the only real obstacle in changing their minds.
However, as Fisher says, it’s bound to happen. They are already turning from the Dems and looking elsewhere. It’s only a matter of time before they see the truth of Trump and what he stands for.
Fisher already has.
“(P)ersonally, I love the man. I mean, how could you not like a real man? How could you not relate to someone like that?” “Someone like that” was later explained as someone who “gives it to you straight” and tells you how it is. Fisher also believes Trump has done more “for the black community than… any president I can think of in my lifetime.”
Meanwhile, the Democrats have only become more “racist.”
Fisher is so much of a Trump fan now that he even told Trump to “Call me. On my cellphone, man. I’ll stump for Trump.”
Remember, this is a man who leads the BLM chapter in Rhode Island. And yet, unlike some of his counterparts, he’s not in it for the glory, the ill-gotten funds, or even the power.
He reminds us that there are people out there who simply believe in the cause because they’ve seen and experienced the hard times many in the black community have gone through, and they are tired of it. They want better for themselves and their loved ones. They aren’t Marxists.

And because he’s actually trying to help and not make things worse, he isn’t blinded by all the misinformation. He can see that Trump is trying to do the same, unlike the Democratic Party or the Biden administration.
It’s only a matter of time before more in his organization sees the same. And when they do, let’s just say the Democrats won’t have a chance.
